The Bible

I can't say that I've ever read the whole Bible straight through. I did sign up for Bible Gateway's daily reader. It is just an RSS service that feeds you daily OT & NT sections. Awesome. They also have a 90-day version but I don't know that I would commit to that. My issue is that I started a few weeks ago so that put my OT section in the middle of II Chronicles. Kinda tough for me to jump into that, so I've been skimming the OT sections. The NT reading has been easier to focus on for me. They also have a 90-day version but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't commit to that.

I anticipate posting about a fair amount of Bible books and other similar items. A few recent things that have had an impact on my thinking:

• Revelation: Four Views: A Parallel Commentary. Thanks Greg Brown.

• 

  The Bible Answer Book (Collector's Edition). Nathan Bell got me into listening to the Bible Answer Man, Hank Hannegraf. Amazing mind on this guy.
